1. The Domain Name & Hosting – Your Presence On The Web
Your domain name is like your calling card on the internet. It is how you are identified both in name and purpose and in some cases even describing the type of service you are likely to provide.
When selecting a Domain name there are several reputable places online from which you could obtain your domain name with relative ease, and in most cases these days, the same domain providers will offer you hosting as well.
The domain name is what you are known by and the hosting basically is Webhosting. This is what allows individuals and organizations to make their websites accessible to others via the internet, otherwise known as the worldwide web.
You can look at it as where you are parked or to put it another way, the space you occupy while online. It’s like your hangout spot.
When it comes to hosting, you need a service which not only understands your business objectives, but can certainly supply optimum value and will go the extra mile for it’s clients.
I have found this to be the case with my hosting providers @ D9Hosting . With D9Hosting, you can acquire both your domain name and hosting.
Should you decide to go with them you can get a 40% discount on your first order depending on your package. I personally recommend the D9 Max+. Just CLICK the banner below to check them out.
BlueHost is another Hosting company which is favored by quite a number of marketers. They provide hosting plans and you can also do your domain search and purchase with them as well. Click the banner above to learn more and make your selection.
2. Choosing Your Auto-Responder
While again there are different options to choose from why settle for the rest when you can go with the best. Aweber is the preferred auto responder of choice for many of the top marketers today. In recent times Aweber has also beefed up its arsenal of tools and products to make them a virtual one stop shop.
What Is An Auto Responder?
An auto responder is a service which allows you to automatically send out emails to individuals, specific groups, or to several different groups of people. Subscribers sign up to receive emails from you by filling out what is called an opt in form on your blog or website.
You can see mine located at the top right side of the sidebar here captioned, “Connect With David.” Once the emails are written, the sending process is automatic.
With an auto responder you can cater to a wide and varied list of subscribers, using segmentation to determine which type of emails you send to each category or type of subscriber depending on the choice of opt-in offer they requested.
I totally love Aweber, but GetResponse is another email auto responder that is also favorably received by many in the marketing arena. Listen to Amy Schmittauer give her testimony as to why she uses AWEBER.
For every $1 you spend on Email Marketing you get back $38. GetResponse is one of the popular tools for Email Marketing and has been recommended by many of the top Internet Marketers.
